Ruth L. Eichler, LMSW

Ruth has been in private practice as a psychotherapist for nearly 30 years. She skillfully guides individuals and couples in accessing their inner wisdom so that blocks to healing and growth can be removed and transformation can occur, always mindful of the intricate connections between body, emotions, mind and spirit.

Ruth is certified as an advanced therapist in Imago Relationship therapy for couples and relationship counseling. Through the Imago process, a safe environment is created for couples to learn how to effectively communicate; resolve conflict; understand each other; deeply connect; and help each other to heal each other and grow.

She has offered many yearlong training programs in Psychosynthesis for people in the helping professions. In addition, Ruth has facilitated hundreds of transformational groups throughout the U.S., Europe and in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Ruth is trained in EMDR (eye movement, desensitization and reprocessing). She has a Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW), is a licensed social worker (LMSW) in the State of Michigan and has earned a national certification from the National Association of Social Workers (ACSW). She also has a Masters Degree in Education, having taught high school psychology and university courses in the earlier part of her career.
